Betty June Sealock

Betty June Sealock, 82, of Front Royal, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Mike McCartney. Interment will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Sealock was born June 5, 1935, in Front Royal, daughter of the late William Russell Williams and Hazel Elzora Sealock Williams. She worked for over thirty years for Aileen, Inc. in Flint Hill and Strasburg and retired after many dedicated years from the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. Mrs. Sealock was a member of the Chester Gap Baptist Church. She was married to the late Dorsey Lyle Sealock, who preceded her in death on May 28, 2017, after 64 years of marriage.

Surviving are three loving and devoted daughters Sharon Sealock Walters and husband Shine, Teresa Sealock North and husband Jimmy, and Gina Sealock Baggarly and husband Clifford all of Front Royal; seven grandchildren Angie Hardt, Jay North, Brian Walters, Stacy Williams, Kara Schmidt, Chris North, and Kelsey Williams; nine great- grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law Leslie D. Sealock, Jr. and Annabelle of Front Royal.

Mrs. Sealock was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Stella Martin, William “Billy” Williams, Kenneth Williams, and Joyce Goad.

Pallbearers will be Shine Walters, Jimmy North, Clifford Baggarly, Brian Walters, Jay North, and Chris North.
Honorary pallbearers will be Killian Swann, David Hardt, Kevin Boyd, and Matthew Williams.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
