Daniel Troy Northcraft

Daniel Troy Northcraft, 30, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in Front Royal.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday June 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Front Royal Church of the Brethren with Pastor Bobby Whetzel, Pastor Diann Whetzel and Rev. Jim Bunce officiating. Interment will follow in the Bennett’s Chapel Cemetery in Warren County, Virginia.

Daniel was born on March 2, 1988, in Woodstock, Virginia son of Jackie Longerbeam Heironimus of Front Royal and Adam Troy Northcraft of Romney, West Virginia. Daniel was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Iraqi War. Daniel had a contagious smile that would light up any room. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and could often be found riding his motorcycle, somewhere where he found complete peace. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are his mother Jackie Longerbeam Heironimus and step-father Neil of Front Royal; father Adam Northcraft and step-mother Katrina of Romney, West Virginia; maternal grandparents Nelson and Marie Longerbeam of Front Royal; paternal grandparents Gary and Jerri Northcraft of High View, West Virginia; two sons Rylan Northcraft of Front Royal and Bryan Korsen of Thornton, Colorado; one daughter Lily Korsen of Thornton, Colorado; one sister Megan Heironimus of Front Royal; brother Tyler Heironimus of Front Royal; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Daniel was preceded in death by a brother Bryan Northcraft and maternal grandmother Phyllis Longerbeam.

Pallbearers will be Steve Mauck, Jim Mauck, Patrick Langlais, Tony Hoffman, Christian Hoffman and Tom Moran.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 22 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Front Royal Church of the Brethren, 106 West 13th Street, Front Royal, Virginia.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Daniel to The Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-9917.
