Henry Lee Cameron Jr.

Henry Lee Cameron Jr., 75, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Warren Memorial Hospital.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Mr. Cameron was born on July 24, 1942 in Warren County, Virginia to the late Henry Lee Cameron Sr. and June Revells Longerbeam. He was also preceded in death by his step father, Theodore D. Longerbeam. He retired from Fairfax County as a heavy Equipment Operator.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Wanda F. Cameron of Front Royal; two daughters, Debbie Simmons (Stacey) of Moneta, Virginia and Tammy Andres (Kevin) of Bealeton, Virginia; two step daughters, Melissa MacCue (Mike) of Strasburg, Virginia and Jesseca Bee-Rambo (Melanie) of Rural Retreat, Virginia; brother, Wayne Cameron (Susie) of Front Royal; step brother, Larry Longerbeam of Georgetown, Tennessee; seven grandsons, two great grandsons and one great granddaughter.

    God Bless all of you.(Henry family an friends) I met Henry about 5 years ago in millwood. Where I live, He once did to with his mother an brother,as a child.He knew all of the older folks, which have gone on.I would be on my porch, Every morning, he would stop by, yes we would have a beer,But I learned a lot from that man, about this small town,yes he would have a beer, But was always respectful 2 people an would help people! I going 2 miss u ole man, But I know things are better now! If I want 2 talk 2 you, I know you are down on that river! God Bless. You ole man!! Love you, David. A Martin. RIP

      Thank you so much David. Our dad would talk about growing up in Millwood and the places that he lived. We would take him for rides on the river roads, on every back road in Clarke and Warren Counties, he would tell us where he used to live and where all of his friends lived. We plan to have a celebration of life on the Shenandoah River in September. Thank you for your kind words.

    Our Brother-in-law, Henry and our young children’s Uncle Henry, along the time his, girls, Debbie & Tami, were growing up, he was very special to all of us. We are sorry for the whole Cameron families loss, to wife
    Wanda and family. and all the many friends Henry had over the years. He will be missed.
