Hilda Jean Woltner, 64, passed away in her Front Royal home July 8, 2018, following a long illness. Born November 1953, Hilda dedicated her life to her dogs, she is now embarking on her journey to join her many companions that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge over the years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Christine Wiley of Woodbridge, VA.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 21 years, Rudy, and their three dogs Lacie, Bridget and Brandy. Hilda is also survived by her son Brian Truslow and his wife Katie of Dale City VA.
She leaves behind three sisters; Joyce Lowry and husband Bobby of Dale City VA, Bonnie Birk and husband David of Front Royal VA, and Connie Dutton and husband Pat of Dumfries VA. She is also survived by two brothers; Daniel Wiley and wife Debbie of Elyria OH, and Jack Wiley of Jacksonville FL and two grandchildren; Brian and Elizabeth. Hilda is also saying goodbye to numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 13th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main St., Front Royal, Va, 22630.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14th at Maddox Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens in Strasburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the form of a memorial gift in Hilda’s name to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
