James Thomas “Tommy” Sealock, 81, of Front Royal, VA , passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Commonwealth Assisted Living.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 7, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Reliance Cemetery. A reception will be held at Front Royal Church of the Brethren on 13th Street in Front Royal immediately following the burial.

Tommy was born in Warren County on March 15, 1936, son of the late William and Eliza Sealock. Tommy worked for Virginia Department of Transportation in Riverton until he retired as foreman in 1991 after 36 years of loyal service. Tommy married the love of his life Dot Rosenberry on December 27, 1954.

Along with his loving and devoted wife , he is survived by two daughters Charlotte Stoots and husband David and Sharon Kindall and husband Jimmy; son-in-law Rich Myers; eight grandchildren Kari Wallace and husband Randy, Natoshia Kindall and husband Mel Harman, Cord Kindall and wife Rachel, Erica Kindall and fiancé Orlando Harris, Clint Stoots, Sarah Myers and Matthew Myers; six great-grandchildren; and his two canine daughter Sweet P and Lady. In addition to his parents , Tommy was predeceased by his daughter Penny Myers; two sisters Annabelle Dodson and Margaret Shipe; and a brother Willie Sealock.

Pallbearers will be John Baltimore, Rigoberto Duran, Randy Wallace, Cord Kindall, Dakota Kindall, Clint Stoots, and Mel Harman.

Honorary pallbearers will be his great-grandchildren Eric, Kyndal, Caden, Gavin, Brantley, and Nathaniel.
