Leona Oliver Pullen, 71, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Terry Oneil Metz officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Pullen was born on September 9, 1945 in Front Royal to the late William J. Estes and Amanda M. Heflin Estes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William E. Pullen; sisters, Virginia Moore, Betty Dodson, Margaret Brister, Rena Vencil and Barbara Thompson and brothers, William Estes, Wallace Estes and Giles Estes.

Survivors include three sons, Mark Pullen of Strasburg, Virginia, Tony Pullen and Bradley Pullen both of Front Royal; eight grandchildren, Samuel Pullen, Matthew Maynard, Sarra Maynard, Alyssa Pullen, Amber Pullen, Kirsten Pullen, Christy Pullen and Brady Pullen all of Front Royal; great granddaughter, Alaynna Sealock of Front Royal; three sisters, Helen East of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Elsie Brown of Front Royal and Joan Atchinson of Alexandria, Virginia; brother, Clayton Estes of Front Royal and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Samuel Pullen, Robert Sealock, Mike Fletcher, Emmitt Brown and Aubrey Sisk.

Honorary pallbearer will be Sarra Maynard.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
