Naoli Rosa Cripps was born at home in Linden, Virginia on September 5th, 2003. She was welcomed into the loving arms of her Parents, Shawn and Desiree’ Cripps and her siblings Kenani, Selah, and Brodie.
She attended Public schools in Warren County, VA from Kindergarten through 10th grade. At age 10 she learned to play goalie and loved the game of soccer. She learned from her many coaches and teammates from leagues in Warren county and Haymarket, as well as the JV team at Warren County High School her freshman year.
Naoli was an easy going free spirit who enjoyed music and going to concerts. You could find her down in front of the stage regardless of where her ticket said she should be.
She dreamed of heading out to California and driving up the Pacific Coast Highway in a VW van. If a space rocket pulled up headed to the stars, Naoli would have hopped right in. As Naoli grew into herself, she became fascinated by the stars and the mysteries that accompanied them. She thought she might study astronomy after she graduated high school.
She grew up with her cousin Sierra who was born the same year. The two spent so much time together. From playing on the same soccer teams, to traveling down the east coast in Sierras dads RV, to just hanging out laughing and carrying on as young girls do every chance they could. They were truly blessed to have each other.
She loved to sing, constantly filling her home with her beautiful voice. Her family will miss hearing her voice as well as her belly laughs and her great sense of humor. Although Naoli was the youngest person in their family, her personality taught them more than they realized. They feel very fortunate to have had Naoli in their lives. Even though the time was short, they learned a lifetimes worth wisdom from her. She was truly grateful for everything that was presented to her, such a kind loving soul that will live in their hearts forever. Thank you God for Naoli. She passed away on October 28, 2018.
A celebration of Naoli’s life will be held at 3526 Fiery Run Rd. (Rt. 726) Linden, Virginia. on Sunday November 4th, at 1:00 in the afternoon.
