Pamela Joyce Nicholson

Pamela Joyce Nicholson, 65, of Front Royal, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Lynn Care Center.

Pam was born on December 15, 1953 in Elwood City, Pennsylvania to the late Donald and Margaret Greenway. She was a devoted wife to Michael E. Nicholson Sr., who passed away in 2014. Her family finds comfort in knowing that after almost five years apart, they are together again.

Pam’s greatest joy was found in her family. She had four siblings: Laurie, Brad, Amy, and Daniel. She was a wonderful mother to Michael E. Nicholson Jr. and Joseph A. Nicholson, both of whose loving sarcasm and sense of humor always kept her on her toes. She was more than a mother-in-law to their wives, Jennifer and Kasey, whom she referred to as the daughters she never had. She was a grandmother to Dylan, Zachery, Allie, and Adam, all of whom she loved and cherished more than anything. She leaves her family with many memories, traditions, and a bond that they will forever embrace.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal.

A private graveside service will be held for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

Pam was the love of my brother Micheal’s life and part of my family for as long as I can remember. My prayers for Pam and comfort for her wonderful Sons and their families. I find solace in knowing she and Micheal are together again and with so many others who have go on before us. Until we all meet again you are loved and missed Pam.
