Sheila Eileen Hillman

Sheila Eileen Hillman, 69, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 3, at 12:00 p.m., at the Freedom Baptist Church in Front Royal, Virginia. The service will be conducted by Pastor Hollis Hillman and Pastor Paul Arcand. Interment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hillman was born March 16, 1948, in Plainwell, Michigan, daughter of the late Hugh Calvin and Virginia Lucille Foster. She was known all her life as one that loved others deeply and would consistently put others needs before her own. Her faith in Jesus and her dedication to the Lord was an inspiration to her family and all that knew her. She also spent time working as a hospice caregiver with Wings of Hope Hospice in Plainwell, Michigan.

Surviving are her husband of 42 years Kenneth H. Hillman; two sons Bill VanEgmond of Caledonia, Michigan and his wife Tami and Hollis Hillman of Front Royal and his wife Darla; a sister Susan Foster of Warren, Michigan; a brother Steve Foster of Paw Paw, Michigan; and six grandchildren Kayla VanEgmond, Kara VanEgmond, Savannah Hillman, Alayna Hillman, Lilliana Hillman, and Hollis Logan Hillman.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the church.

Sheila will be remembered as a very loving, giving, and helping individual. She deeply loved her husband, sons, and grandchildren. She especially loved the Christmas season. She lived her life for Jesus Christ and others.
