Shirley J. Testerman, 80, of Front Royal, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 15, 2017, in the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.
A funeral service and gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 17th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal with Pastor Earl Taylor. A second funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19th, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the White Top Baptist Church with Pastor Earl Taylor and Pastor Harley Farmer. Burial will follow in the Byars Cemetery in White Top, Virginia.
Mrs. Testerman was born on March 18, 1937, in Green Cove, Virginia, daughter of the late Robert Farmer and Fannie McCoy Farmer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Howard Farmer; two sisters Faye Luther and Janet Hall; and one granddaughter Samantha Dell.
Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of 61 years T.A. Testerman; one son Michael W. Testerman and wife Linda of Stephens City; two daughters Teresa L. Dell and husband Paul of Troutdale and Lisa D. Hagenson and husband Mark of Culpeper; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
