Betty Jane Henry Wood, 81, Formerly of Rileyville Virginia and Front Royal, Virginia went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2018 at the home of her loving daughter in Middletown, Virginia surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be on Sunday, April 29th at 4:00 p.m. at the Rileyville Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in the Rileyville Cemetery.

Betty was born March 2, 1937 in Front Royal, daughter of the late Millard Lee Henry and Evelyn Mae Updike Henry. She was a member of the Rileyville Baptist Church. Betty and her late husband Cecil owned and operated Woods Grocery and Garage for many years in Rileyville.

Surviving are her loving and devoted daughter Lisa Beth Salazar and husband Ahmed “Moe” Moustafa of Middletown; two sisters Loretta Henry of Front Royal and Alice Faye Morneault of Middletown; brother William C. “Bill” Henry of Strasburg; grandchildren Timmy, Jason, Krystle, Donna Lynn, Aaron, Garrett, Kristina, Traci, and Missy; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charlie Cecil Wood, daughter Cindy Pack, son Dennis “Denny” W. Henry, three brothers Smitty Henry, Hugh “Ronnie” Henry, Phillip Henry and sister Frances Butts.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Henry, Jason Jones, Bobby Perry, Rex Andrews, Ray Knight and Farron Clatterbuck.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Eli McEathron, Phillip Wolfe, Jake Shipe and Jamie Henry.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 28th at Maddox Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Sunday from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Rileyville Baptist Church.
