Sharon Lou McCarty, 55, of Front Royal, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015, in her home.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday , November 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Britt officiating. Inurnment will be private.

Sharon was born on August 16, 1960, in Monongalia, West Virginia, daughter of the late French Howard Temple, Sr. and Julia Maxine Titchnell Temple.

She worked as a Pharmacy Tech for many years.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edgar McCarty; parents; and son-in-law Todd Nichols.

Surviving are her step-mother Ethel Temple of Keyser, West Virginia; two daughters Cassie Nichols of Bentonville and Holly McCarty of Front Royal; one granddaughter Autumn Nichols of Bentonville; three sisters including her twin sister Karen Britt of Saint Albans, West Virginia, Debbie Roberts of Fairmont, West Virginia, and Patty Johnson of Shawsville, Virginia; one brother French H. Temple, Jr.; step-sister Linda Huffman; step-brother Kenny Frind; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 18 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
