Hoover Jr. Foster, 67, of Augusta, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, West Virginia.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Panorama Memorial Gardens with Sammy Campbell officiating.
Hoover was born July 16, 1956 in Culpeper, Virginia, son of the late James Hoover Foster and Mary Marie Atkins Foster.
He worked numerous jobs, Asplundh Tree Service and Perry Engineering. He loved his family and working outside with his hands.
Surviving are three sisters, Christine Foster, Carolyn Bucher, and Ruth Foster; two daughters, Samantha Foster (Greg) and Angel Foster; two step-children, Melissa Smelser and Robbie Rhodes, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Hoover was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dainne C. Foster; two brothers, Michael Atkins, and Willie Foster; and a sister, Debra Ball.
Good memories of Hoover and his family living just down the road from us in Rockland.
