Dexter Fix, 64, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with the Rev. Skip Bentley officiating. Inurnment will be private.
Dexter was born June 11, 1960 in Warren County, Virginia, son of William “Bill” and Barbara Fix.
He retired as a bus driver from Hertz at Dulles Airport.
Dexter loved playing tennis. He was unapologetically himself, attentive, funny, and a very kind person. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Surviving, along with his parents, is a daughter, Carly Fix of Front Royal; two brothers, Bruce Fix and Randy Fix, both of Front Royal; and a sister, Flecia Head.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
