Rick Steele, 91 of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, December 22 at 3:30 p.m. at Riverton Church with Pastor Marc Roberson officiating. Inurnment will be private.
Mr. Steele was born March 7, 1933 in Jersey City, New Jersey, son of the late Gordon A. and Ida Johnsmeyer Steele.
He retired after many dedicated years as a Deputy Sheriff from the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and was a long-time member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was an active member of Riverton Church for many years.
Surviving are three generations of family.
I am sorry to hear about Rick’s passing. He was a good victim-witness advocate. I remember spending time with him, his wife Ellen, & their son Sandy. This was many years ago. RIP.
