Louise Emanuele Cassella, 91, of Middletown, Virginia, passed away early on Sunday morning, July 6, 2025, very peacefully. During the last stage of her life, she was frequently surrounded by family members praying the rosary for her in the comfort of her own home.

A funeral Mass will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 120 W Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia, with Father Tom Shepanzyk officiating. The family will receive guests at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main Street, Front Royal with burial to take place at Cool Springs Cemetery.

Louise was born on July 21, 1933, in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Giacomo and Josephine Neglia Emanuele. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vincent Joseph Cassella (d. 2004).

Louise is survived by her son, Vincent A. Cassella and his wife, Jennifer; her daughter, Josephine Cassella; her grandchildren, Dominic and his wife Carley, Elijah and his wife Danielle, Zachary, Ariana and her husband Andrew, Maximus, Jude; her great grandchildren Macrina, Matthias, Lucia, Basil, Antony, Emmelia, Therese, and Augustine.

Pallbearers will be Dominic, Elijah, Zachary, Maximus, Jude and Andrew.
