Cecilia Louise “Sissy” Fletcher, 72, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2025 at Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Fletcher was born on October 26, 1952 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late John Jr. and Margaret Hough Lanier.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter S. Fletcher.

Survivors include her son, Robert Glenn Smith of South Carolina; daughter, Ronda Nowicki of Front Royal; two brothers, Jimmy Lanier of Texas and John Lanier of Alabama; five grandchildren, Timmy Jacobs, Kriska Jacobs, Camry Jacobs, Heather Smith and Carrie Smith and seven great grandchildren.
