Ralph Leon Bennett Sr., 70, of Browntown, passed away in his home on Friday, January 15, 2016.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 19, at 2 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Ramsey and Pastor Jeff Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.

He was born on June 30, 1945, son of the late Mildred Mae and Fred Jackson Bennett.

He was married to Dorothy Ann Bennett on May 27, 1966. They were married 49 years.

Surviving with his wife, Dorothy Ann Bennett, are his daughter, Veronica Ann Berg and her husband Pete; his son, Ralph Leon Bennett Jr.; his granddaughters, Brandi Nashell Bennett, Kailynn Nicole Bennett, and Ana Valerie Bennett; his grandson, Shawn T. Berg; and his sister, Helen Airhart.

He is also survived by his stepsister, Mary Ann Rodgers, and his two stepbrothers, Jimmy and Charlie Bennett.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Aubrey “Buck” Bennett and Harrison “Musky” Bennett; and his sisters, Mary Ann Bennett and Nancy Aleshire.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at 1 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
