Neil Anthony Heironimus, 63, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 peacefully at his home after a battle with cancer surrounded by loved ones.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 12 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Sammy Campbell officiating.
Neil was born on October 25, 1961 in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Kerns; step father, James Heironimus; son, Daniel Northcraft and sister, Robin.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Jackie Longerbeam Heironimus; mother, Catherine Kerns Heironimus; son, Tyler Heironimus; daughter, Megan McEathron and her husband Zach; brother and sister, Steve and Abby; three brothers, Eric, Matthew and Brian; sister, Angie; eight grandchildren, Rylan, Bryan, Aubree, Kenidee, Lily, Theodore, Eleanor and Boone; mother and father-in-law, Nelson and Marie Longerbeam and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Please come in casual attire, as Neil would have wanted that.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601 or to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
