Kenneth Wayne “Ken” “Kenny” King

Kenneth Wayne “Ken” Kenny” King, 77, of Charles Town, West Virginia passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at his home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11 AM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Elder Derrick Chun officiating.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Luray, VA.

Mr. King was born on November 3, 1948 in Aberdeen, Maryland to the late Robert Frederick King Sr. and Margaret Lucille Williams. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kevin Brian King and Keith Jerome King.  Mr. King graduated from Criser High School, Front Royal, VA first in his Class of 1966.  He attended Virginia State College in Petersburg, VA.  He retired from United Bank and was a United States Navy veteran, serving on the USS Inchon during the Viet Nam War.

Survivors include his son, Adam King; brother, Robert Frederick King Jr.; sister, Karen Diane Morgan; granddaughter, Amiyah Michelle King; friend, Althea M. King; nephew, Robert F. King III, two nieces, Ebony Vines Jackson and Amber Hendrix Ford, and one great nephew Ellis Jackson.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

    Criser Highschool was family…..We all feel the loss of our brother Kenny King…. Comfort to the King family.

    We (Ellis & I) love you Uncle Kenny! Thank you for the time we shared together and I’m so glad you got to meet and spend some time w/ Ellis. Your picture came up on our TV when you accepted the plaque for grandma in Luray. You will be missed and never forgotten.
