Richard Dale Straw, 93, of Front Royal, VA, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.

Services will be private.

Mr. Straw was born October 24, 1922 in Akron, Ohio, son of the late Earl and Grace Basham Straw. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II.

Surviving are three children Janet Prokay of Columbus, OH, Roger Straw and wife Gretchen of Front Royal, VA, and Bruce Straw of Rockmart, GA; one sister Flora Jean Jenkins of Ohio; four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was married to the late Mildred C. Slaunwhite Straw.
