Donnie Ray Griffith, 62, of Front Royal, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 in his home.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastor Cecilio Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Bennetts Chapel Cemetery.

Donnie was born October 27, 1953, in Richlands, Virginia, the son of the late Robert Cecil Griffith and Thelma Ernestine Layne Griffith.

Donnie is survived by two daughters Meshell Willingham of Front Royal and Dawn Griffith of Strasburg; a brother Gary Griffith of Mineral and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Melissa Griffith, a brother Darrell Griffith, a sister Shelly James and a grandson Anthony Rush.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
