Tyler Moody

Tyler Moody, 32, of Kernersville, North Carolina passed away on January 10, 2026.

A memorial service will be held for Tyler at 11 A.M. on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia with Pastor Andy Combs officiating. The family invites guests to visit one hour prior to the service.

Tyler was born on October 6, 1993, in Winchester, Virginia to his father, Kenneth Moody; and his mother, Sharon Lauer.

Tyler is survived along with his parents, by his loving wife of nine years, Taylor Moody, his children, Clara and Eleanor Moody; his step-mother, Kathy Moody; his siblings Jay Buhl, Laura Moody and Kati Buhl; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Tyler was an operations manager at Amazon and was known for his strong ethics and dedication. Tyler had a love for baseball and spent many years playing the game he loved, a passion that stayed with him throughout his life.

Tyler had a strong commitment to fitness valuing discipline, strength, and perseverance, qualities he carried into every day of his life. His faith in God guided his life, and found strength and comfort in that faith everyday. Tyler lived by his favorite verse, Psalm 91 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

He was also a lifelong and passionate Green Pay Packers fan, proudly cheering them on in every season and sharing that enthusiasm with his daughters.

Above all else, Tyler was a devoted husband and father. He deeply loved his family and found his greatest joy in time spent with them.

Tyler lived with purpose, faith, and love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.

    Tyler was a classmate of mine at messiah. He was always kind and caring. Please let me know the Venmo it’s not showing up while searching

    Tyler was my neighbor down the street. He and his family are the nicest people. You can see the love for Taylor, the girls and his dogs thru his eyes. We didn’t see each other very often, but when I did he was always happy, especially when he was with his family.
