Carl Lee “Buster” Brown II, 72, of Front Royal, passed away on Wednesday, February, 10, 2016 at the Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 2 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Sammy Campbell. Interment will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Buster was born on April 16, 1943 in Washington D.C., son of the late Carl Lee Brown I and Frances Eleanor Harrington Brown.

He worked for over 40 years for the Apple House as a truck driver.

Surviving are his loving wife, Vernell Roberts Brown; two sons, Carl Lee Brown III and Jeremy Adam Brown, both of Front Royal; and five daughters, Cynthia Galletta of Atlanta, Georgia, Cheryl Brown Reynolds of Texas, Renee Ashmore of Waynesboro, Pamela Louise Brown of Georgia and Jennifer Ann Brown of Georgia. Buster was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Louise “Charlie Brown” Henry.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Henry, Gregory Henry, Timmy Henry, Alan Shaffer Sr., Alan Shaffer Jr. and Dale Kinder.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal.
