Tommy was a dear friend. We met 60 years ago and we did a lot of growing up together. To me he was a band leader, my patrol leader in Scout Troop 877 and a shoulder to lean on. Politically we couldn’t be more different, but that never made any difference in our friendship. He was like a brother, and I will sorely miss him.

Mere words alone can never describe the shock and disbelief of Tom’s passing. Tom and Korinna has been my and my wife’s neighbors and good friends for over 30+ years here on Apple Mountain Lake. Things just won’t be the same without him in all our lives. God Bless you Korinna.

    My dear friend Tom,
I shall miss our long conversations and hearing you say, “God bless you brother.” To Korinna and family know that the members of the U.S. Artillery Reserve and the entire reenacting community share your loss and shall keep you in our thoughts and prayers during these sad days of bereavement. In honor of Tom the federal artillery camp will be dedicated in his name this coming October.
    Always,
    BG James Lynch
    U.S. Artillery Reserve
