Ronald W. “Ronnie” Chadwell, 69, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the V.A. Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia under the care of hospice.

A graveside funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Washington Masonic Cemetery, Washington, Virginia.

Mr. Chadwell was born November 26, 1946 to the late Edward W. Chadwell and Bea Corder and has been a lifetime resident of this area. He was a U.S. Army veteran, member of Giles B. Cook American Legion Post 53 since 1968 and served as care taker for the American Legion in Front Royal for many years.

Survivors include his brother, Edward W. “Jackie” Chadwell, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann Chadwell of Front Royal; step brother, Bud Corder of Washington, Virginia; niece, Dana McCelland and her husband Jack McCelland of Madison, Virginia and aunt, Mary Burke of Sperryville, Virginia.
