James Christopher “Chris” Sain, 77, a longtime resident of Front Royal, Virginia passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Sain was born on August 3, 1948 in Mesa, Arizona to the late James W. and Hilda E. Sain. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca A. Sinclair.
Chris was a passionate lover of wrestling, a devoted fan of the “Washington Redskins” as he would say, and someone who found joy in life’s simple pleasures, good food, swimming when he was younger and time spent with the people he loved. He was a bright light, the kind of person who could walk into any room and instantly lift the mood with his presence.
Chris was deeply loved and left a lasting impact on every person he met. He had a rare, almost magical way of connecting with others, always finding a path straight to peoples’ hearts. His warmth, humor and genuine spirit will be remembered and cherished.

He was a sweet and genuine soul who will be so very missed. I always remember how much you loved your wrestling and donuts and yes even the redskins . You had such a special light that was loved by so many . I know you’re healthy, happy and whole now . Please stay close to those who loved you so very much!!
