Betty L. Strickland, 80, of Front Royal, VA passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Sammy Campbell.

Mrs. Strickland was born March 7, 1935 in Borger, TX, daughter of the late William Roy Jack and Pansy Opal Campbell Jack. She was preceded in death by her husband French O. Strickland; two brothers Jerry W. Jack and Geary L. Jack; and two great-grandchildren Elijah E. Smith and Makaelynn L. Manuel.

Surviving are two daughters Patsy L. Buck and husband Bill of Manassas and Valerie Raistrick and husband Roger of Front Royal; one brother Bill Jack of Clendenin, WV; five grandchildren Chris Barr and wife Nicole of Orange County, VA, Erika Raistrick of Front Royal, Brandi Smith and husband Stephen of Front Royal, Ashley Raistrick Manuel and husband Travis of Front Royal and Stephanie Buck of Manassas; and five great-grandchildren Zachary Barr, Emily Barr, Caleb Smith, Malerie Manuel and Abigail Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
