Maryl Lynn Creveling Quinney, 78, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held later, date to be determined.

Maryl was born on October 18, 1947 to the late Norman Creveling and the late Roberta Rupell Rosano.

Maryl was a member of Self Realization Fellowship, she was a nurse for 19 years, and she enjoyed gardening and music. She was also a talented flute and piano player.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Leonard Quinney Jr, and her son, Donald Howard Yowell Jr.

Surviving Maryl are her children, Tim Quinney (Deveney), Sarah Rettberg (Tony), and Ryan Quinney (Mo); her siblings, Ross Creveling, Norma Butler, Russell Pinkerton, and Kay Pinkerton; her grandchildren, Jessica Lee Lenard, Tony James Rettberg Jr., Virginia Lynn Rettberg, Joshua Lee Yowell, Parker Alexander Quinney-Steele, Melissa Deane Makowski, and Rayne A. L. Sperry; and numerous extended family members.
