Eugenia Coranda Cabness, affectionately known to many as Gina, passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 44 in Washington, D.C.

Born on May 9, 1982, in Cheverly, Maryland, Gina grew up rooted in Front Royal, Virginia, where she built her life and community. A proud graduate of Warren County High School, she went on to dedicate her working life as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), bringing deep compassion and care to others. Outside of her career, Gina found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved cooking delicious meals, styling hair, and sharing her vibrant energy with those around her.

Gina is survived by her loving children, Elijah Cabness and Taccorra Cabness; her cherished grandson, Hendrix Cabness; her aunt, Lynette Turner; and many beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Cora Turner; her mother, Donna Roy; her father, Eugene Cabness; and her brother, Brandon.

A homegoing service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 1 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Following the service a repass will take place at the Front Royal Moose Lodge.
