Dylan Wayne Mauck, 24, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at his home in Front Royal.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Inurnment will be private.

Dylan was born June 28, 2002 in Front Royal, Virginia, son of Jeffrey Wade and Vanessa Ann Craig Mauck of Front Royal.

He was a graduate of Skyline High School, Class of 2020 and a carpenter by trade. Dylan had a great love of the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Surviving, along with his parents, is his maternal grandmother, Joyce Craig of Front Royal; paternal grandfather, James “Jimmy” Mauck of Front Royal; brother, Ryan Mauck and wife Makenzie of Strasburg; sister, Katelyn Mauck and fiancé Chance Corathers of Front Royal; one niece, Brylee Mauck; and one nephew, Leo Mauck.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 29 from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
