Leon H. Henry, 77, of Front Royal, VA, died on Tuesday, April 12, 2016.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Maddox Funeral Home and the funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Henry was born May 23, 1938 in Front Royal, VA, son of the late Hildrey and Gladys Ramey Henry.

He retired from the Town of Front Royal as a backhoe operator. He enjoyed his time as a little league coach making many lasting friendships.

He was married to the late Dorothy Louise “Charlie” (Brown) Henry.

Surviving are his three sons Jeffrey Leon Henry (Pattie), Timothy Eugene Henry (Donna), and Gregory William Henry (Faith) all of Front Royal; six grandchildren Amber Marie Henry Pingley, Kymberlee Dawn Henry, Jacob William Henry, Dakota Eugene Henry, Shyana Nicole-Louis Henry, and Samantha Sours; and seven great-grandchildren Gracie Stillwell, Savannah Stillwell, Blayze Henry, Ryder Crabill, Gianna Pingley, Alanna Pingley and Izabella Vaught; and his faithful four-legged companion Ace.
