Ada Rebecca “Becky” Case, 84, of Front Royal, Virginia and formerly of Herndon, Virginia, passed away on May 22, 2016 at Fairfax INOVA Hospital in Fairfax, VA.
She was born on August 16, 1931 in Purcellville, Virginia to the late Charles Walter Norman and Inez Elizabeth (Long) Norman. She was the youngest of seven children.
She was preceded in death by four of her siblings, Eppa Lynn Norman, Walter White Norman, Isaac Gregory Norman, and Garland Robertson Norman; and by her husband and love of her life, Frederick (Fred) Leroy Case.
Becky is survived by her sister, Margaret Inez Norman Pope; her brother, Williams Long Norman; two sons, Bradley Kevin Case and Frederick Jackson Case; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Case; granddaughter, Rachael Gail Fry and husband Shawn and three great-grandchildren; grandson, Bruce Allen Facemire and wife Stephanie; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Becky was loved by all and lived life with resounding enthusiasm. She loved to take long drives on Skyline Drive, go camping at Trout Pond, and she and her family frequented Massanutten Resort through her timeshare since the early 1980’s.
Though her loss is a profound one on that of her family and anyone that was lucky enough to know her, we are all grateful that she is finally reunited with ‘her Fred’ in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
