Dena Lee Bowers, 74, of Front Royal, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, in the Winchester Medical Center.

Services will be private.

Mrs. Bowers was born on June 24, 1941, in Warren County, daughter of the late Alvin Dean Cooper and Freda Lee Whipp Cooper. She retired from Ogden Services in Chantilly.

Mrs. Bowers was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Joseph Edward Bowers.

Surviving are one son Joseph L. Bowers of Bentonville; one granddaughter Jillian Leigh Bowers of Wardensville, WV; one brother William “Butch” Cooper of Luray; three sisters Jackie Smith and Mary Menge both of Front Royal and Pat Boese of Winchester.
