Audrey Cheshire Hite, 92, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation in Winchester, Virginia.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 17 at 10:00 AM at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal.
Mrs. Hite was born May 1, 1924 in Winchester, Virginia to the late Harley R. Cheshire and Blanche Boyce Cheshire. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Hite, Jr., her daughter, Cheryl Sue Hite, and her sisters, Hilda Kroll and Gladys Stubbs.

She retired from BB&T Bank after many years as a branch receptionist and was a member of Front Royal United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, Thomas J. Hite, III (Patty) of Front Royal; brother, Robert “Billy” Cheshire of Georgia; two grandchildren, Rachael Hite and T.J. Hite both of Front Royal; two great grandchildren, George Twigg and Thomas Hite both of Front Royal. She is also survived by two special friends, Barbara Jenkins and Joanne Perrero.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Front Royal United Methodist Church.
