David E. Andrews, Jr., 56, of Oneonta, New York, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Front Royal, Virginia.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Maddox Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Elder Gary Utz. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Andrews was born on June 24, 1960 in Oneonta, New York, son of Frances Cuozzo Andrews and David E. Andrews, Sr.

Surviving are three sons, David E. Andrews, III, Hunter D. Andrews, and Peyton L Andrews; a daughter, Frankie R. Andrews; siblings, Frances P. Callahan, Leta L. Pasternak, Frank W. Andrews, Lillian B. Eldred, Lorna Pozeg, and Joseph J. Andrews; two grandsons, David E. Andrews. IV and Daniel Andrews; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Andrews was preceded in death along with his parents by two siblings, Connie C. Folds and Lucy A. Harris and two nephews Christopher R. Andrews and Donald C Eldred, III.

Mr. Andrews was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 829. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and guns. Most of all, his children meant a great deal to him.
