Gladys Helen Beaty Fletcher, 68, of Linden, VA, died on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Fletcher was born November 5, 1948 in Front Royal, VA daughter of the late Giles O. Beaty and Gladys Irene Curry Beaty.

Surviving are her husband of 48 years James Fletcher of Linden; one daughter Wendy Kay Fletcher Henry and husband Chad of Front Royal; one son James E. Fletcher, Jr. of Linden; brothers Floyd Beaty of Romney, WV, Sam Lee Beaty of Haymarket, VA, Luther Edward Beaty of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Larry Beaty and Joe Beaty both of Front Royal. She was preceded in death by a brother Charlie Beaty; and a sister Irene Clatterbuck.
