Audrey Genevieve Mills Darr, 89, of Front Royal, VA, went peacefully with the Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2017.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Rivermont Baptist Church followed by a funeral service at 11:00 conducted by Rev. Seth Alcorn. Burial will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Darr was born January 20, 1927 in Front Royal, VA daughter of the late William Henry Mills and Nettie Lea Mills. She retired from Avtex and was a longtime member of Rivermont Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children George W. “Sonny” Allison (Jean) of Woodstock, VA, Carol Peyko (Ken) of Cross Junction, VA, Michael Allison(Judy) of Andrews, NC, and Roberta “Dale” Hall (Richard) of Dover, PA; 11 grandchildren Dawn Kasha (Steve), Tracey Bosak (Dennis) Carl Richard E. Allison (Joy), Nicole Caccavano Joe), Jon Peyko, Serenity Gibson (Nic), Krishna Litchfield (Josh), Casey Hall, Kelly Millhouse, Katie Hall, and Tiffany Budzisz(Michael); and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband George W. Allison, her second husband Richard Darr; a son Donald Lee Allison; two brothers ; and six sisters.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
