Sidney Elizabeth Williams Ritter, 98, of Huntly , VA passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Skyline Terrace Nursing Home in Woodstock, VA.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Willis Chapel Cemetery conducted by Sammy Campbell.

Mrs. Ritter was born April 26, 1918 in Huntly, VA, daughter of the late Emmett and Ida Lucy Mills Williams. She retired from the coning department at Avtex after 35 years of service. She was married to the late Amos Ritter.

Surviving are one sister Lucille West; her “children” Butch Ricker and wife Sharon, Debbi Cahill and husband R.H., Kevin Ricker and wife Dianne, and Robin Dennis and husband Bill; numerous nieces and nephews; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; one great-great-niece; and two great-great-nephews. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
