Flora Myers Sirbaugh, 78, of Front Royal, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 in the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Sammy Campbell. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sirbaugh was born on September 22, 1938 in Phillipe, West Virginia, daughter of the late Harley and Gaye Myers. She graduated from Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Mrs. Sirbaugh was an elementary school teacher, having taught in both Frederick County and Warren County. She retired from E. Wilson Morrison Elementary School in 1990.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years James E. Sirbaugh; one daughter Krista Sirbaugh of Richmond; one son Mark Sirbaugh and wife Marcie of Browntown; one grandson Dillon Sirbaugh of Browntown; one granddaughter Rachel Sirbaugh of Browntown; one sister Connie Edwards and husband Gary of Slanesville, West Virginia; one brother John Myers of Winchester; numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion Buddy.

The family would like to thank everyone at the Lynn Care Center for their outstanding care and friendship she received.
