William “Bill” Sine, 87, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Envoy of Winchester.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with the Rev. Seth Alcorn officiating. Burial will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park.

Bill was born on July 7, 1929 in Columbia Furnace, Virginia to the late Raymond Sine and Sarah Edith Estep Sine. During his working years he spent time with Schwarzenbach-Huber Silk Mill, Avtex and Ogden Allied. He was an avid deer and bear hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae “Sis” Sine; daughter, Jackie Sine Everiss; step son, Roy Franklin Owens and two brothers, Wayne and Cecil Sine.

Survivors include his daughter, Beverly Boyce; step son, James Brinklow; Step daughter, Katherine Foster; brother, Edward Sine; Sister, Audrey Sine Fravel; four grandchildren, Stacey Ward, Jonathon, Matthew and Jesse Everiss and two great granddaughters, Brittany and Hannah Ward.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
