Ann J. Pickrell, 85, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Fox Trail Senior Living in Front Royal.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal with Sammy Campbell officiating.

Mrs. Pickrell was born in Faquier County, Virginia on December 10, 1931 to the late Albert Berkley Jenkins and Mozelle Mae Estes Jenkins. She was a member of Front Royal United Methodist Church and Warren Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Bruce Pickrell; her twin brother David Jenkins; her brother, Paul Jenkins and two sisters, Gertrude Morris and Marie Parks.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, John P. Pickrell of Front Royal; son, John Jefferson “Mickey” Pickrell (Joyce Farmer) of Chipley, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Front Royal United Methodist Church.
