Frederick Morris Emmons, 88, of Front Royal, VA, and Cape Coral, FL, died peacefully on July 20 at Blue Ridge Hospice, Winchester, VA.

He grew up in Binghamton, NY and attended Catholic University with his twin brother, Frank.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Ellen, and siblings, Lewis, Mary (McElheron), William, Charles, Ann (Sr. Ellen John, CSJ), Paul, Frank, Laura, and Roger.

Funeral will be at 11:00 on Tuesday, July 25 at St. John Church in Front Royal with burial at a later date in McLean, NY.

Family will receive friends at Maddox Funeral Home Monday from 6-8 pm.

He loved his Catholic Faith and was a sacristan at St. Andrew’s, Cape Coral, FL for many years. He was cheerful and gregarious with a charming personality. Fred was loved by all.
