Dillard Mitchell Judd, 72, of Maurertown , passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, in the Evergreen Health and Rehab in Winchester.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18, at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal conducted by Sammy Campbell. Interment will follow in the Dry Run Cemetery in Fort Valley.

Mr. Judd was born on February 1, 1945, in Fairfax, Virginia, son of the late Ridley Judd, Sr. and Gertrude Rebecca Thompson Judd. He worked many years for William A. Hazel, and most recently for Wendy’s in Woodstock.

Surviving are a son Mitchell Lee Judd of Virginia; one brother Ridley Judd, Jr. of West Virginia; and several cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Thompson, Jr., Tyler Unroe, Timothy Pyne, James Henry, Kevin Hart, and Brandon Tusing.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
