Woodrow Wilson “Jack” Figgins

Woodrow Wilson “Jack” Figgins, Jr., 78, of Front Royal, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Heritage Hall in Front Royal.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Bill Wood and Rev. Dottie Holden. Interment will follow in the Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick.

Jack was born on March 31, 1939, in Front Royal, son of the late Woodrow Wilson Figgins, Sr. and Susie Mclendon Willis Figgins. Jack was a 1958 graduate of Warren County High School, attended Lord Fairfax Community College, was an ordained minister, served as Chaplain at the Lynn Care Center and Heritage Hall in Front Royal. He served on many mission trips with his church and attended Valley Assembly of God Church. Jack was a Master Cabinet builder and Carpenter, loved hunting and fishing, and a huge Nascar fan.

Surviving are two sons Mark W. Figgins of Stephens City and Craig S. Figgins of Strasburg; and one brother Danny Figgins of Front Royal.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Roger W. Figgins.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Knight, Walter Pittman, Aaron Figgins, Brady Figgins, Alan Guard, and J.R. Dove.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 10 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Heritage Hall and its staff and the Blur Ridge Hospice for the wonderful care that was shown to Jack.

    Praying for your family. We will miss him. I really enjoyed sending little gifts to him at Heritage Hall. He was always so kind to me when I came to visit my family in VA. We have the hope of seeing him again someday. God bless you all. Love and Prayers.
