Francis “Janie” Jane Robinson, 79, of Winchester, Virginia passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Church of the Rock, 620 Virginia Avenue, Front Royal with Pastor James Starks and Rev. Howard Eugene Ford officiating.

Mrs. Robinson was born on January 21, 1939 in Fauquier County, Virginia to the late Henry Edwards Sr. and Edith Haley Edwards. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Goldie Robinson, son, Jerry Edwards and daughter, Shirley Ann Edwards. She was with Watch Care at the Church of the Rock.

Survivors include her two sons, Robert W. Edwards (Claudette) and Elmo R. Edwards; two brothers, Henry Edwards Jr. and Samuel Edwards (Gertrude); sister, Mary Bailey (Roshier) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Bailey, Keith Bailey, Lawrence Summers, Johnny Porter, Matthew Edwards, and Joseph Edwards Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tavan Mair, Derrick Copeland, Richard Lane, Mark Casey, Abe Porter, Keilib Ford, Lindsey Lane and Robert Jackson Jr.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
