Albert Lee “Bert” Stancil, 42, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11 Am at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Steve Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Bert was born on April 3, 1976 in Fairfax, Virginia to the late Jimmy L. Stancil and Janet Lee Gore Stancil. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Warren Parrish.
He worked for T N T Tree Company and Atkins Tree Care.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal Stancil; four sons, Jonta Baltimore, Brandon Dodson, Caleb Dodson and Warren Stancil; two daughters, Natalie Dodson and Graycie Stancil; two sisters, Wanda Grey and Sharon Nevins; twelve nieces and nephews and fifteen great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Henry Atkins, Kevin Zimbro, “Little” Ricky Cromer, James Roberts Jr, Lee Dodson and Cliff Miller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey Sine, Jonta Baltimore, Codie Sine, Dylan Atkins, Trea Atkins, Brandon Dodson and Caleb Dodson.
To Our Sweet Granddaughter and Grandchildren Crystal And Family . Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and the family in the loss of your wonderful Husband, Dad, and Step Dad. We always thought Bert was so special from the first day you two got married. You could see the love in your eyes for each other. I’ve told Bob many times how lucky you and Bert was to find each other. The first day we met him we thought he was so special and we liked him very much. we know that you and the family are going to miss him terribly. We love you all and if we can do anything for you let us know dear. I told Bob at your wedding how great he was and you could see all the love you two had for each other. May God be with you all during this most difficult time in your life.
I’m sorry i never personally met Bert but i did talk to him on line. I’m his half brother James Stancil. I was excited when we spoke on line because i heard about him years ago. I am real sorry for his immediate family’s loss. I know he’ll be missed.
