Dorothy C. Rudacille, 82, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 2 PM at Maddox Fuenral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Sammy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Rudacille was born on May 10, 1936 in Browntown, Virginia to the late Guy and Freida Smelser Compton. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Herman Rudacille and her sister, Aileen Hamrick.

Survivors include her son, Scot Rudacille of Front Royal; three brothers, Paul Compton (Sue) of Front Royal, Carl Compton of Front Royal and Lawrence Compton (Donna) of Crestview, Florida; two sisters, Pauline Wharton (Richard) and Mary Simons both of Front Royal and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
