Linda Mae O’Neil Smoot Stiltner, 66, of Stephens City, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019, in the Winchester Medical Center.

All services will be private.

Linda was born daughter of Grooms Linton Register and Helen Jean Garrison McIntosh. She worked for many years for the Fairfax County Police Department. Linda was married to the late Lonnie Edgar Stiltner, Jr.

Surviving are three sons Patrick Allen O’Neil of Spanaway, Washington, William Edward Smoot of Vancouver, Washington and Greg Smoot of Rappahannock County, Virginia; one daughter Dawn Smoot-Naydock of Bristow, Virginia; four sisters Martha Testerman of Rocky Mount, Virginia, Myrna Beeman of Eastern Shores, Virginia, Joyce Brittle of Culpepper, Virginia, and Darlene Housley of Aldie, Virginia; and 19 grandchildren.
