Ferdinande “Ferdy” Marie Tchokokam Emgoue, 58, of Front Royal, Virginia peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 2:46 PM at her residence.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 11 AM to 12 PM at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church located at 120 West Main Street, Front Royal, VA 22630.

Mass will be held at 12 PM within the main sanctuary and Repast in the Refectory will follow after mass in the basement of the church.

A devoted wife, mother, sister, friend and colleague, Ms. Emgoue was born in Yaouné, Cameroon on May 9, 1961 in Cameroon to the late Andre Marie Emgoue and Adrienne Kamaha. She was also preceded in death by her older brother, Benoït Emgoue.

She was a customer service representative for United Airlines, a member of the Front Royal Catholic Community and the sitting President of the NUFI Women Association.

At the time of her passing, Ms. Emgoue was actively working to complete the graduate requirements of her Master’s Degree in Aviation Management.

Survivors include her husband of more than ten years, Bediong à Nyokon; daughter, Johanne Kamaha; son, Destin Toko; five brothers, Celestin, Cyriaque, Desire, Honore and Philbert Emgoue.
